Is This Bright Enough for You? by Roxanne Burns - 2nd Place
My husband wanted a bright quilt to hang in his office, which has no windows.  I think this will be bright enough for him.  (Be careful what you wish for . . . . )

Flying Leaves by Gretchen Engle - 3rd Place
I have been collecting leaf fabrics for years, waiting for the right design.  This is "Fall Fancy" from an article in Quilters Newsletter, October 2002, about leaf blocks.)  The block was first published in the "Rural New Yorker" in 1931.)  It barely dented my collection of leaf fabrics!
