Lost in Infinity

| I found
the face in the central panel in a piece of Judy
Robertson's hand dyed fabric. It became
the focal point and inspiration for this quilt.
About halfway through designing the quilt, I
found the other face (in the lower right hand
corner). The shiny circles are made from
Angelina fibers. |

The scallop
shell is the symbol of those making a religious
pilgrimage; used as their eating and drinking
utensil. It is the symbol of St. James and
myth says it was used by John the Baptist to
baptize Jesus. This quilt is used as a
meditation piece depicting our life's journey. |

I love
flowers, trees, boats, animals, and most of all,
2" fabric squares and the watercolor technique
of quilting. Put them all together and you
have a peaceful scene. Can you find the
animals hiding in the garden? |
