The quilt
center, inspired by Ricky tims' book
Convergence Quilts, was started in Jeanette
Beams' class; we expanded the quilt to lap size.
The Japanese lady panels, used as tea towels in
Japan, were a gift from a friend. The
quilting design originated from the koi fabric.

Designed for
the cover of a July Issue of Quilters
Newsletter. The author said there was no
pattern and asked me to write one, so I made one
up, leaving out the appliqué and adding
sculptured corners. Linda Tellesbo quilted
the outside feathered border for me. |
