If the Amish Went to Bali
by Deborah Haynes - 1st Place |
 |
| A
hand-pieced adventure combining scraps of batiks
from two previous quilts with a variation on
black. I have decided that scraps are
never used up, they multiply for the next
project. |

Criss-Cross
by

 |
| #6 in a
series. Many thanks to Margy, Trish and
Vicki for donating black and white prints,
without which I couldn't have made this quilt! |

Double Feathered Star in Red
by Pam
Pifer - 3rd Place |
 |
|
The center
block is from Marsha McCloskey's new book
Feathered Star Quilt Blocks: Really Hard Blocks
That Take a Long Time to Make - a perfect
title! The bias squares on the red center
feathered star finish at only 1/2" and I cut
every single on of them individually!
Layout adapted from one of Mary Hickey's quilts. |

Some Stars Over the Rainbow
by
Carole Rush - HM |
 |
|
When my first
granddaughter was born, I began a 'rainbow'
quilt for her that quickly became too complex
and challenging for me to be willing to give it
away. So Cassidy received a cat and mouse
quilt. This one hangs in our home for her
to enjoy on visits. |
