This is a jacket I made several years ago, one of my first attempts at embellishing with beads.
     
Memories of My Mother's Kimonos by Tomoko Fukumoto - 2nd Place
My mother loved kimono.  She passed away nine years ago, leaving me her kimonos.  I wanted to make something wearable in her memory.
   
Very 'Mary' Teapot Cottage by Virginia Anderson - 3rd Place
When I saw this pattern, I just knew that I had to make it since it was a teapot.
