| This is my
second wholecloth quilt. The inspiration
for the design was from stencils, books, etc.

This is the
second quilt from a Hoffman Fabric collection
that I've been using in my quest to make a quilt
that looks like stained glass without all the
bias tape. It draws from Sara Nephew's
Building Block Quilts and Stack & Whack.
They never go as planned, which is why they're
East of Eden. This is for my brother Greg:
pastor turned theologian. Machine piece and
machine quilted. |

Are you Done Yet? by

I was piecing
this quilt when I met my husband. It
taught me paper piecing with color theory.
The quilt is our wedding quilt and the quilt
that helped my husband understand that I needed
a longarm machine. I kept saying "no" when
he kept asking "are you done yet?". This
is Karen Stone's New York Beauty Pattern.
Machine pieced and hand quilted. |

Double Wedding Ring

I started this
quilt in the early 70's. Using cardboard
templates to trace around, I would sew by hand,
then put it away, then get it out and work in it
some more. So it's been a work in progress
for thirty plus years. All the work ahs
been done by hand, even sewing the binding
together by hand. Hand pieced and hand
quilted. |
