| The quilt
is named for my Black Lab "Ursa" - Ursa means
bear. This is my first big quilt project -
and it only took 6 QA Quilt Retreats to get it
done. I can tell you all of Cabin B will
be VERY happy to see "The Bear Paws" completed -
Lord knows it wouldn't have been done without
their support! Machine pieced, machine
quilted. |

| The
unusual thing about this quilt is that my
daughter Heather and I picked out almost all the
fabric in one shop on a raining August day in
Montana. For then ext two weeks Heather
learned to cut and piece (including paper
piecing) this quilt top in Fishtail, Montana, a
special place for our family. Machine
pieced, machine quilted. |
