As My Father Used To Say by Marian L. Floyd- 2nd Place
My sister was making a list of all the colloquialisms dad used while we were growing up on the farm. His "isms" inspired me to make this quilt using his old neckties and photos

Wenatchee River Odyssey by Leanna Olmsted - 3rd Place
I was making a different quilt for my sister, Mary. When she saw this quilt partially finished she said "I want THAT one." And she wanted the fly fisher to be a woman, so I gave her a pony tail. It will hang at her cabin on the Wenatchee River.

2 1/2 Cats by Linda Ostroff - HM
When I first saw Sherry Calvert's wall mural, I saw it as a quilt would look. I asked Sherry's permission to use her design but I changed some of the design to make hand appliquéing it easier. I shopped for fabrics to closely represent the mural.
