2800 ~ Wearable

My "Leftovers" Vest by Elaine Colvin - 1st Place

Last year I made a quilt for my brother as a Christmas gift. I loved the colors and fabrics in it, and since I had a bunch of leftovers, I decided to make a simple, very wearable vest for myself from them. It was great fun to pair up the various rectangle prints, and attaching them to a great shirt I found at Value Village saved some time.

Which Way Are the Geese Going? Quilted Jacket by Arlene Strong - 2nd Place
Thought I could use up some scraps and found I had tons of blues. Unfortunately, I think the scraps multiplied in the making of the jacket. My own design on a sweatshirt foundation.
