Moon Rising Shoji
Screen by Elaine Colvin - 1st Place |
 |
| My friend Mary Ann Jones brought me a shoji
screen quilt for quilting. I was inspired by her
quilt to make one, also. Seeing this Asian Moon
fabric, I could instantly visualize how to use
it. This was a fun and quick project to piece. I
loved Mary Ann's quilt, and I am very happy with
mine, too. |

Fractured Spiral by

 |
| I like to try new techniques. The orderly
piecing and the machine quilting were a
challenge for me. |

Double Delight by
Joyce Trees - HM |
 |
| I pieced this several years ago but just got
around to quilting it. I was attracted to this
pattern by Roxanne because of the eye-catching
pieced border. |
