Starscape by Carole
Rush - 1st Place |
 |
| Starscape is an original design very different
from the initial concept for an
easy-to-construct, king-size gift quilt. The
resulting quilt required much more work than
anticipated and demanded to stay home. My
husband, Richard, collaborated with me in
creating the final layout. |

Forty-Third Weekend
in October by Kathleen Brown - 2nd
Place |
 |
|
Ten years ago my sister, Laurel, gifted me with
the pattern 'Third weekend in October' by
Ruth Powers and many of these lovely fabrics.
Although I loved it, other projects took
precedence until this summer. |

Pathway to the Stars
by Mary H. Calderon - 3rd Place |
 |
| I wanted mine to show off the colors and
decided to use a white background instead of
black. This one took me 7 and 11/2 months
- a long time for me. But I do like it. |
