#710 ~ It's a Beautiful Day
in the Neighborhood by Becca Knox - 3rd Place |

In exchange for meeting space at the Greenwood
Senior Center, our satellite group makes a
raffle quilt each year for the Phinney
Neighborhood Association's Winter Festival &
Crafts Fair. This year we decided to do a row
quilt with a happy, garden, neighborhood theme.
We each started with the dotty yellow fabric and
a suggested height and width of a row. The
vitality and variety of our group shines
through, even on the back of the quilt! Thanks
to the lucky winner, Linda Elwood, for allowing
us to share this quilt with you! Hand- and
machine-pieced. Hand- and machine-appliquéd.
Machine-quilted by Alayne Pettyjohn.
