Speaker and Topic: Sarah Goer will present her lectures "Rules and Options of Planned Improv Piecing" at the evening meeting and "Creating a Scrappy Slab" at the morning meeting.

Sarah will show you how to get your scraps out of your scrap bin and into a project! She will share her techniques for building a scrappy slab from scrap fabrics of any size. In addition to show and tell about numerous projects using these slabs, Sarah will outline a variety of ways for you to use scrappy slabs in your quilting. You will leave this lecture ready to sew your own scrappy slabs at home. It's a great way to add a little improv to any project!
